Summary and Objectives
The C-ROADS project aims to harness the potential of grassroots solutions to address climate change and achieve climate justice through community-based participatory approaches. To achieve this purpose, the project will combine a range of formal and informal learning and social development methods with interactive narratives, game-based learning and a didactic app with the aim of enhancing participatory skills. Therefore, C-ROADS will define seven (7) learning pathways to support institutions involved in adult education to boost climate change awareness among individuals and their local communities.

Expected Results
R1: C-ROADS didactic app and advocacy learning path, will provide individuals with a set of tools to drive climate change awareness and proactive and influential participation.
R2: Didactic Escape Rooms by C-ROADS, will be designed to create a meaningful context for individuals to solve different life challenges related to climate change and justice. These game-based learning exercises will also encompass cross-cutting learning competencies (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication) and life skills (flexibility, leadership, initiative, productivity, and social skills), with the goal of empowering community engagement on climate action issues.
R3: C-ROADS Photovoice thematic and practical guide for educators. It has three specific objectives. First, to train adult educators in the photovoice methodology through an intensive online course. Second, to develop a practical guide for adult educators on the use of photovoice methodologies to enhance the participatory capacities of individuals so that they can better address climate change advocacy issues at the local level. Third, to support the participation of individuals in their communities to take action for climate change and justice by engaging them in local photovoice research.
