Resumen del Proyecto + Objetivos
The “Volunteering Without Borders” project of Solidarity Without Borders (SSF) seeks to strengthen the volunteer movement and the associative fabric in the Community of Madrid, especially in the Southern Metropolitan Area of the Community of Madrid (Alcorcón and Leganés) through innovative volunteer activities and coordination with different entities related to volunteer action.
Objectives:
- To improve the quality of volunteer action in the Community of Madrid, especially in the Corona Sur, through innovative instruments and mechanisms for training, commitment, continuity and organization of volunteers.
- Promote volunteer actions and social participation in the Community of Madrid, especially in the Corona Sur, through the access of volunteers to different areas, sectors and programs implemented by SSF.
Beneficiaries/ target group
- Volunteers between 18 and 30 years old.
- Volunteers over 30 years of age.
- Volunteers with physical, sensory and/or intellectual disabilities.

- Volunteers trained in voluntary action, human rights, local and international cooperation and specialized training
- New tools developed to improve the quality of volunteer action in the Community of Madrid.
- Volunteers involved in local and international projects of social and socio-labor action, education, youth awareness, migration, interculturalism and international protection; and in European social action projects.
- Population sensitized to the importance of social participation, especially through volunteering to address social problems
