Project Summary + Objectives

The project aims to promote social inclusion and participation of young migrants through artistic activities and work on their identity and sense of belonging. Specific objectives include supporting the integration process of young migrants into the host society, training professionals working with young people in alternative methodologies and artistic techniques, promoting different forms of art as a means of self-expression and self-knowledge, fostering social participation through artistic skills and making visible the cultural diversity and identities of young migrants in Europe.

Beneficiaries/ target group

Young migrants or young people of migrant origin between 18 and 30 years of age who are in a situation of vulnerability or at risk of social exclusion.

Expected Results

Tangible results: A handbook for youth workers bringing together tools to work on identity and empowerment through art, and an awareness-raising campaign developed by young people through art.

Intangible results: Professionals trained in innovative and quality techniques to work on youth inclusion and participation through art, young migrants improving their social integration, communication skills and sense of belonging, awareness raised on cultural diversity in the EU and the added value of young migrants for society, and dialogue and constructive links created between young migrants and professionals from different countries and contexts.

Materials Created

Handbook for youth workers that includes tools to work on identity and empowerment through art.

Awareness campaign developed by young people through art.
